Timber Hopper

Timber hoppers can be used as a step up to a low deck or an activity. We can design the heights to suit the age of the children playing using the play space.

Single timber hoppers can be used as a place to rest and reflect.

They can be placed in rows to form balancing and co-ordination activities, or in circles to create yarning circles.

Creating a yarning circle with timber hoppers?

Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority (QCAA) agree that by using yarning circles as a teaching and learning strategy, students’ understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander knowledge and ways of working are enhanced. This strategy is suitable for students across all phases of schooling.
