Macaranga Crescent Park
Carseldine, Queensland
Located on the border of a large wooded area, Macaranga Crescent Park really leans into the nature-theme that is so popular across Queensland. The main feature of this new Brisbane City Council park is the large, timber playground Bespoke Playgrounds designed especially for this space. This play unit combines challenging climbing and balancing elements with imaginative and explorative elements that encourage children of all ages to explore and enjoy the playground.
TLCC took charge of the overall landscaping for the park, and installed beautiful rubber surfacing designs and two large rubber mounds that integrate with a bespoke metal play deck and the two large rope bridges, supplied by Bespoke Playgrounds.
There is also an extensive nature-play course surrounding the playground that allows children to immerse themselves in nature while enjoying the play equipment.
