Nature Pod

Nature Pods and a very popular request at Bespoke Playgrounds.

They are particularly popular from Prep to Year 5 age group and can be placed at the side of a playground or installed as an individual component .

Nature pods help:

provide a space to chat and collaborate
create new friendships and maintain existing ones

Preparation

Each nature pod is designed and used for a variety of reasons. At this school they wanted to maximise the play space and hide a brick wall. The nature pod did this well and is used every break by year 5 & 6 students. We are able to engrave working along the fascia, maybe a school motto or an inspiring phrase.

The nature pod brings a small group together in a busy playground and is great for reflection, building relationships or simply to get away from it all.

A yarning circle is a creative and collaborative way of communicating. Yarning circles have been an important process within Aboriginal culture and Torres Strait Islander culture for centuries.

Yarning circles can help:

build trusting relationships by encouraging responsible, respectful and honest interactions between participating
to enrich the learning experiences for both students and teacher
provide a safe place to be heard and to respond to
build a connectedness within a school community
