Each nature pod is designed and used for a variety of reasons. At this school they wanted to maximise the play space and hide a brick wall. The nature pod did this well and is used every break by year 5 & 6 students. We are able to engrave working along the fascia, maybe a school motto or an inspiring phrase.
The nature pod brings a small group together in a busy playground and is great for reflection, building relationships or simply to get away from it all.

A mud patch is a great way to connect with nature. Playing with mud is also a joyous experience and one that children can not resist. Since the dawn of time children have loved playing in mud!
