Clayfield Pre-Prep approached Bespoke Playgrounds to revamp their outdoor play space. The design aimed to provide a space of adventure, learning, and improved safety, whilst working around the existing layout and various site constraints.
The upgrade creates a sense of wonder and excitement by incorporating elements and experiences that many children do not have access to at home, such as a bike track, swing, climbing structure, and water course. These features are thoughtfully set amongst garden beds and established trees to allow children to explore their natural surroundings.
Importantly, modifications to the paths, surfacing and the gradient through the site make the space much safer for children and staff, and increase the overall amount of usable space.
