Coolum Beach Community Kindergarten

We were approached by Coolum Beach Community Kindy to see if we could assist with upgrading an existing playground.  After visiting the kindy, we could see that there would be a few challenges when it came to space as there were several trees throughout the area.  What we enjoy about these challenges is that our playgrounds are all bespoke so we were able to design the playground in and around the trees ensuring not uphold the impact zones.  We wanted to add lots of play value but appreciated that the kindy had a tight budget, so we added some pre-loved items such as the tunnel and we were able to take down the original track ride and had it spray painted (its looking as good as new now).

We always like to add some extra play value on site, and one of our carpenters added some little shelves on the inside of the shop front so that the children can role with toy items.

We also loved how the kindy were open to the idea of having an interchangeable acitivty.  We added a plank bridge and hand rails, which the kindy can also convert to high low ropes and the kindy has also been able to raise some extra money to have a set of interchangeable monkey bars.
