Honeyeater Street, Upper Kedron

Honeyeater Street

Upper Kedron, Queensland

We were so pleased when the Brisbane City Council came back to us to ask if we could design, supply and install a playground at Honeyeater Street.  We had installed a playground in 2019 and this was a large connecting addition to the original to suit multi aged children.

As the street was called Honeyeater Street, in the first playground we started with a honeyeater bird theme, adding beautiful art panels and flowers. We wanted to build on to this idea and came up with the idea of designing an aviary !  We asked one of our artists to paint some additional art panels, and we connected all the activities together.  This has to be one of our favourite playgrounds we have designed and installed.
