Jamboree Park
Jamboree Heights, Queensland
Brisbane City Council’s focus for Jamboree Park was significantly increasing the play value in the playground, while also improving the accessibility of both the playground and the park overall.
The bespoke timber play unit includes a combined junior section, with lower deck and easier equipment, and senior section, with high decks and challenging play elements.
A garden bed with nature play elements connects the children with nature through play, and the star feature, a 20m cableway, allows children to glide through the air!
The freestanding equipment and underside of the main unit are wheelchair accessible from the new footpath via the rubber surfacing.
